A delightful dessert recipe perfect for those late summer days when the hint of autumn is in the air. Quick and easy to make, it combines the refreshing coolness of a classic sundae with warm, comforting spices - perfect for feeding a crowd!
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
4 Granny Smith apples, diced
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
Vanilla ice cream
Ginger biscuits, crushed
Method
Step 1: Melt the butter in a warm pan, and add the apples, cinnamon and sugar to a pan. Heat the mixture until the apples are soft, but not mushy.
Step 2: In a large bowl, add 3-4 scoops of ice cream, top with 2-3 spoons of apple mixture and sprinkle some crushed biscuits on top.
Step 3: Repeat the layers with the ingredients until the bowl is full.
