Excellent high quality elegant design
I bought a smaller Sophie Conran for Portmeirion set earlier in lockdown and liked it so much I’ve decided to build on it to create a “proper” dinner service. I bought this larger set because I want to have eight each of all the main items - but it had the benefit of some pasta bowls and mugs too. I really like the simplicity of the design and love the quirkiness of the “wobble”! Just makes it so much more than other plain white sets. This particular box set was great value and I’m really pleased with it - all the pieces are well sized and feel really sturdy while also looking elegant. I love the fact that there is an excellent range of items so I can eventually get serving plates and cookware too. Very pleased.

Lovely dinner set and great service
I have been looking at this set in shops for a while but the price put me off until I found it here at such a reasonable price and ended up buying two sets. Traditional and quirky at the same time. One of the side plates were broken and a replacement was sent with no hesitation really good service. Thanks

Excellent Dinner Service and Customer service ! Really pleased with the sets .I bought 2 sets so now have 8 pcs of plates,bowls, mugs etc which is plenty. They are well designed
and thought through .i.e the plates are solid but not too heavy and the mugs are surprisingly light for their size. Also all items wash and dry well in the dishwasher .
They arrived quicker than expected too which was a bonus

I love the look of the Sophie Conran dining set but how easy are the wonky shaped small and large bowls to stack in a dishwasher? Can they be angled nicely in plate/bowl racks (with tines adjusted) or do they have to sit flat with face down & bottom up?
Plates and bowls no problem. Shape of the large pasta bowls means I leave an extra row between items when stacking. The plates are large so do not fit side by side but stack well behind each other. I am very pleased with the 20 set and bought a second 20 piece set as liked so much. I hope this helps.
