But what is ‘second’ ware.

• High quality – each piece has the same properties as its ‘best’ equivalent whether oven-proof, freezer and microwave safe, or Fire & Ice. 
• Slight imperfection – A ‘second’ might have a slight discolouration or an imperfection in the glaze of transfer. In many cases these slight imperfections are hardly visible to the naked eye. 
• Different design – A ‘second’ may simply feature a non-standard motif or design.
