Delivery
For delivery before Christmas, your order needs to be placed before 4pm on 17th December 2008.
After this time we cannot guarantee your delivery before Christmas.
Delivery is free for all orders totalling £50 or more.
For orders under £50 a standard delivery charge of £4.95 will apply.
We do not ship orders to outside the UK mainland.
Due to the traditional Potteries Christmas factory shut down we may not be able to process any orders made from 8:30am on 22nd December 2008 till the 5th January 2009.
If your order is made between these times delivery will be made within 3-16 working days of receipt of your order (Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm).For deliveries to multiple addresses please complete a separate order for each address. A delivery charge, if applicable, will be applied to each order.
Refunds and Returns
******For orders placed between 1st December and 17th December 2008 we have extended the return period. Customers have until 9th January 2009 to request a return/refund
Due to the traditional Potteries Christmas shutdown, we will not be able to respond to any returns/refunds requests from 22nd December 2008 to 5th January 2009.
Please rest assured that all enquiries will be dealt with on our return.

The returns and refunds procedure:
We hope you will be pleased with your order. Should you wish to return your purchase or part of it, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time and in original, undamaged packaging. See Returns in our terms and conditions.
Please contact e-shopadmin@portmeirion.co.uk or call 01782 743414 within 10 working days of delivery. We will then arrange a courier to come and collect the product(s) you wish to return free of charge and give you further instructions.
If the goods are returned due to an error made by Portmeirion or if the goods are faulty, we will replace where possible or refund the cost in full (including the purchase price of the goods and original delivery costs). However, if the goods are returned because they are unwanted, Portmeirion Potteries Ltd will only refund the purchase price paid for the goods excluding the original delivery costs and You will need to pay for the return delivery costs.
If a non-faulty product returned is not in fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.
Refunds will only be made once the returned Products are received by us.
Please note, items purchased from the Portmeirion website can only be returned to Portmeirion Potteries Ltd and not to subsidiaries, independent retailers, concessions, stockists of Portmeirion or alike.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Disposal of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment - WEEE
Since 1 July 2007, the UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations allow members of the public to dispose of old electrical and electronic items at recycling sites across the UK, free of charge.
Every year the UK throws away around 1.2 million tonnes of WEEE. This waste is recyclable but if not disposed of correctly could be potentially harmful to your health and the environment.
All items that fall under the WEEE Regulations carry this symbol. The symbol indicates that when the item is no longer wanted or at the end of its life it should not be treated as household waste.
To find your nearest recycling sites, contact your local council or visit www.recycle-more.co.uk.
Alternatively we offer free in-store take-back for any waste electrical product if you purchase a similar new product in one of our factory shops or if purchasing online you can return a similar product to Customer Services, Portmeirion Potteries Ltd, London Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 7QQ stating your order number (found on your order acknowledgement or despatch note). The cost of postage of this item to the collection point must be bared by the purchaser and not by Portmeirion Potteries Ltd.
