Acclaimed
artist Susan Winget graduated from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975 with a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree in painting.
Susan and her husband were married in 1976 and her studio
is a small house located on the farm where they live.
Along with painting, Susan is very involved in the lives
of her three children, her church and her community.
She is inspired by her family and the beauty of her surroundings,
all of which are reflected in her paintings. Susan is a
compassionate, dedicated artist and deeply committed to
her painting.
A Christmas Story is Susan's first collaboration with Portmeirion
under the PS brand features a series of intricately detailed
images inspired by the rhyme "Twas the night before Christmas".
